Patterns of Life has been an intermitent project for many years, really gaining momentum in the early 21st century with the addition of an Akai MPC2000XL and a digital multitrack to the studio. A CD single was finally published in 2005 which has sold steadily; this led to the tracks being available on iTunes which has been successful.
In 2006 the obligatory myspace page was set up which has created some interest, and has evolved as more is absorbed about the internet. In 2008, having failed miserably to actually become a live outfit in 2007, it was felt the best way forward was a better internet presence; hence this website.
There's more information under the two music pages; the vocal music tends to be more lively/ poppy wheras the instrumentals are generally slower/ more introspective, to the point where it was considered having two band names. They do overlap however, including one song which has an instrumental version which will be on this website soon, once I've worked out how to put sound on!
